TRAVEL BY TRAIN
Travelling to UK Beach Fest by train is a convenient way to join the action! Whether you're heading to Skegness or Bournemouth, both festival destinations are accessible by rail, with onward connections to the beautiful beaches where the action takes place.
Skegness
Skegness Railway Station is located in the heart of the town, approximately a 15-minute walk from Skegness Beach.
East Midlands Railway operates direct services to Skegness from Nottingham, with connections available from Grantham, Boston and other destinations across the UK.
Getting from the station to the beach
Once you arrive at Skegness Railway Station, head towards Lumley Road and continue through the town centre towards the iconic Skegness Clock Tower. From here, follow signs towards the seafront and beach.
Alternatively, local taxis are available for those travelling with luggage or sports equipment.
Bournemouth
Bournemouth Railway Station offers excellent rail connections from across the South of England and beyond, making it easy for festivalgoers to travel to Bournemouth Beach Fest.
Regular services connect Bournemouth with London Waterloo, Southampton, Winchester, Poole and Weymouth, with further connections available from other major UK cities.
Getting from the station to the beach
Bournemouth Beach is approximately a 25–35-minute walk from the railway station, depending on your destination along the seafront.
Visitors can also take a local bus or taxi towards Bournemouth Pier and the seafront, making it easy to reach the festival area.
